Is this also good for striking arts like boxing or taekwondo? I have nice wrestling mats for jiu jitsu and wrestling but they are too squishy for good stand up movements
Yes! Maintains great speed and footing when used with the 1" mat for TKD/Boxing, while falls and throws are absorbed by the springs. For BJJ/Wrestling top with the FUJI 1.5 or 2in Mats.
No need for edge wrapping?
not necessary for most applications where the cut goes under the wall pads. Always an option if you prefer of course.
